My name is Valeria, and I come from the beautiful landscapes of Italy, where I grew up surrounded by animals—especially cats. They've always been a part of my life, bringing joy, comfort, and companionship since I was a child. When I moved to London, I felt something was missing. The city felt a little less like home without the gentle presence of my furry friends. That’s when I welcomed my first London kitty—and not long after, a second one joined the family. For over 12 years now, their companionship has brought endless warmth to my everyday life. They’re more than pets; they’re my best friends. Professionally, I work as a Senior Coordinator for a highly regarded domiciliary care company, supporting communities in Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea. I take great pride in what I do, knowing that our work directly improves people’s lives. Outside of work, I’m passionate about staying active and connected to nature. I love cycling through London’s green spaces, going for a jog to clear my mind, and playing volleyball whenever I get the chance. Hiking is one of my greatest escapes—there’s nothing like the peace and challenge of a mountain trail to reset and recharge. Though most of my family is still in Italy, I’ve built a warm home here in Sydenham, where I live with my husband, Salvatore. Together, we enjoy the balance of city life and moments of nature whenever we can find them.
