Hello, I have lived in Brighton most of my adult life and love cats but can't have one here due to my lease. I really, really miss them, hence being here. I had four cats growing up in the family home. My mum worked for a vet, so the house was a managerie and people always brought us injured wildlife to take care of! I quite often look after friends' pets - including the beautiful Monty in my profile pic. I was an Airbnb superhost for a few years too so I understand and appreciate the trust involved in opening your house to someone. I'm responsible and an experienced property manager too - with professional experience as well as being a landlord myself and 26 years on the board of a Freehold company.

I am unable to look after your cat in my home due to lease restrictions. In yours, he or she will already be comforted by familiar surroundings and scents. I will be respectful and aware of your cat's boundaries and build trust from day one. I will not push physical contact until they approach me and are happy and secure with me. If they are indoor only, I will be very careful to make sure your cat is secure and kept inside at all times. I am also very aware that certain foods, plants and substances are toxic to cats and I take care to insure potential hazards are kept at bay.

Tamara was an excellent sitter for our beloved Basil. She kept us fully informed and frequently sent updates on how things were going whilst she stayed at our home for 3 nights. I wouldn’t hesitate in rebooking or recommending her. It’s no wonder Tamara is a star sitter!
I couldn't have asked for a better cat sitter. I was able to completely relax on holiday knowing my cats were in Tamara's care. She sent daily updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind, and her communication was excellent throughout. Tamara genuinely loves animals. She spent quality time with my cats, played with them, and paid attention to every detail of their care. I trust her completely and feel incredibly lucky to have found her. She's truly a dream cat sitter, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.
Tamara is our go-to cat sitter when we are away. She always takes great care of our boy Boots, keeps us updated on how he is and sends plenty of pictures. We came home to a happy and relaxed moggy. Thanks Tamara!

This was my second time booking with Tamara, and she was very accommodating on such a short notice in booking it. My cat tends to take a while to get comfortable around new people but he took a liking to Tamara on their first meeting and seemed to remember this by this second time of being taken care of by her. Tamara offered great feedback during her visits, which does put your mind at ease when you're away. Would 100% recommend!
Tamara was amazing at looking after our two cats whilst we were away for 3 nights. She asked all the right questions to find out both the cats needs in good detail, including feeding, litter and medication requirements (one of our cats needs daily meds) and followed these perfectly. Tamara was also keen to adapt her approach to both of them based on their unique personalities as Lola our Siamese is very needy and sociable but Pandora our new rescue is a bit shy at first. Within a day or so Tamara had made friends with our shy rescue Pandora which is amazing given it takes her usually a longer time to warm up to people. Due to all of this and the lovely updates we received, we felt very reassured while we were away and when we got back home both cats were super happy and our flat was super clean. I would definitely book Tamara again any time I go away and would highly recommend - Thanks so much again!

Schedule
I’ve got quite a flexible schedule so if I’m housesitting, your cat will have plenty of company during the day. For drop-ins, visits will be 30 - 60 mins with extended care available on request.
- Tamara can host up to 3 drop-ins per day
- Let me know if your cat has any special needs or habits I should take into consideration. Their preferences of all kinds are also really important. For example, do they like to be held? Do they prefer to drink directly from the tap than from a bowl? It all helps me give the best possible care. It would be helpful to know any worries you may have, so that I can make sure you can relax knowing that I am paying special attention.
