Cat care experience
I am a writer and also a film and theatre actor and comedian. I moved to Hebden Bridge almost three years ago and love it! I am a Nichirin Buddhist and believe it is important to have compassion and caring for all living creatures (including people). I have two gorgeous cats (Venus and Mickey Zeus). Venus came here from London and is about 12. Mickey came from a multi cat household in Bradford and is a British Blue Shorthair! He has big paws and wants to play piano! They are gorgeous loving cats and live a very happy life with me. I adore cats and feel it is important to love and care for them as they are special spirits in this world who spread joy and happiness as long as they are well treated. Cat trays are the least loveable thing about cats but I am prepared to clean them. I also like grooming cats as they usually love being brushed and it makes them feel secure. I am a good cat petter and usually know which bits to touch without them getting annoyed and biting my hand off.

Sue is so kind and caring and has a natural passion for cats. I was instantly reassured as soon as I met her and was very happy to leave our cat with her. She updated us and went above and beyond to care for our very timid cat. I would recommend her 100%.
Sue was phenomenal! She was a great communicator and kept our minds at ease, we were actually able to enjoy our holiday, despite missing the cats so much! We felt so safe knowing they were being looked after by her. She even came round for an extra visit to make sure our cats were both safely inside for the night when one of them wouldn’t come in earlier. Thank you very very much Sue!
