Hi everybody, I'm a researcher and a proud cat owner. As you can see in the picture, that gorgeous little creature is my Nymeria, a 12 year old little cat found in a cellar at my friend's house when she was only 40 days old. We fell instantly in love and, since we couldn't stay apart, I've travelled with her by train from Turin, Italy (where we used to live before moving to the UK) to London. A lot of people asked me if it was worth it to spend all that money and time for "a cat"; to those people, I've always replied "obviously you couldn't get it even if I explained it to you. But let's try this way: would you leave a member of your family behind? Because that's what she is to me". I can't recall a day in my life without a cat (so far, we've owned 8 cats since I was a child) and I know for sure how empty a house feels with no pets.
