Cat-obsessed sitter in Birmingham
I’ve lived with cats for years — a British Shorthair and a Ragdoll — so feeding, litter, brushing long coats, nail trims and spotting the early signs that something isn’t right are all second nature to me. I’m a postgraduate PhD student in Birmingham with a flexible schedule, so I can fit visits around your cat’s normal routine. I’m patient with shy or nervous cats, I’ll follow your feeding and medication instructions exactly, and I’ll send photos and a short update after every single visit.

Your cat stays in my flat as a proper guest, not in a pen or cage. It’s a quiet home with no other pets and no children, and I keep windows doors shut and check every room for hazards — cables, plants, cleaning products — before your cat arrives. New arrivals start in one calm room with their own litter tray, food and something that smells of home, then explore at their own pace. I ask that guests are healthy, fully vaccinated, flea and worm treated, and don’t need daily medication, simply so I can give every cat the same standard of care. You’ll get photos and an update every day.

Schedule
I’m a PhD student, so my days are built around my own research rather than fixed office hours — which means someone is home with your cat for most of the day, not just for a quick visit. Mornings and evenings are always feeding and play time, and I’m around at weekends too. I only take one booking at a time, so your cat gets the whole house and my full attention rather than sharing with other guests.
