I’m an experienced cat sitter and massive cat lover who understands the concerns involved when you need to leave your little furry/furries behind for a few days. I founded, and now run, a registered charity (Chaffinch) working with children in the Kibera slum of Kenya. My cat sitting funds my flights and some treats for the 200 children who currently call me Mama. I've been owned by cats for about 17 years. I currently have a big softie called Ebony who is now 15 years old, and Bear who is 4 years old. Ebony detests taking tablets so I've become quite the expert at getting them into her - if your cat needs medication, it shouldn't be a problem. I have a feline 1st aid certificate so am confident providing immediate aid for accidents, illness, or wounds from cat fights, including knowing when veterinary care is necessary.

Safety, trust & environment
Looking after your cat(s) in your home is a great way to keep them in their usual routine and with all their usual play spots and hiding places. I work well with shy cats as well as with the more exuberant or scratch-happy kitties. Never daunted!

Fantastic as always. Wonderful daily pics of our boys which the kids loved and mean we can enjoy our hols knowing our beloved cats are safe and being well looked after. Highly recommend as always.
Sarah has looked after Bertie many times and is always my go to. Bertie loves her and I can from pictures Sarah sends as updates is very happy and settled when she is there. The house is nice to return to, clean litter, full water, and she does a mix of activities with Bertie depending on if he is fussy or playful! Thank you Sarah

We booked Sarah for an overnight stay and a few drop-in visits to keep our new kitten and two older cats company. She did a fantastic job and we felt so reassured to know they were in good hands! Sarah was very communicative and sent us a lot of cute pictures of our kitties. Her love for cats really shines through and we can't recommend her enough!

Schedule
I work flexibly as a volunteer CEO for Chaffinch so, mostly, I am able to cat sit at times to suit you and your furry friend(s). As I travel by public transport and on my own two feet, it may not be possible to accommodate your exact preferred timing but this is usually only a problem in more out-of-the-way parts of my cat sitting area.
- Sarah can host up to 4 drop-ins per day
- Do let me know if you have special requirements for your cat(s) eg. if they have particular health problems or special needs that I will need to be aware of. Please note: I have no experience giving injections eg. insulin, but tablets and liquid medicines are no problem at all.
