I’m currently working part-time so I fit your pets time around this. My most consistent availability is in the morning at 7:30am for 30mins or 7am for an hour. Otherwise, my availability changes due to my shifts being anywhere from 8:30am to 9:30pm. Just message me and I can let you know what my week is looking like!

Safety, trust & environment
For both outdoor and indoor cats I’ll go in and say hi to them then put their food out. Outdoor cats I would then let out if they do not have the automatic pet flap. Any other requirements from you would be included. In the case of outdoor cats, I am fine with them bringing in ‘gifts’ from outdoors and will remove/dispose of them. If you let me know where your cleaning stuff is I will also disinfect the area.
Information Rachel M. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if you have any special requirements or funny quirks your cat has whether it’s medical or preference. For example letting me know what a specific meow is for at a certain time/ place.
A typical day
If your cat enjoys play, I make the most of their time playing with them - whatever toys they fancy. For indoor cats I would also scoop litter trays how often you would like. For longer stays the option to empty, clean, and refill the litter tray(s) is available.

Cat care experience
Hi! I’m Rachel. I am currently working as a psychology researcher, so I conduct interviews that cover people’s experience of certain situations usually relating to wellbeing. I have two cats and regularly dog sit. I would eventually love some form of farm. My oldest cat is Mabel and she was a rescue who I slowly brought from a hissy missy to a loving cuddly cat. My second Artemis is a mischievous little cat who loves to shred paper and butt pats.
Reviews

There is no praise high enough to give Rachel. She visited first so our 2 girl Ragdolls could meet her and they took to her straight away. This surprised us as our 1 year old is very timed and is hard to bring round. Chiko was taking treats from her within minutes. Our 8 month old Tiana was lying like a baby in Rachel's arms in no time. Rachel sent photos and videos every day and gave us updates which we were desperate for as it was our first time leaving them. She made sure to put us at ease by keeping in touch and answering our messages quickly. We found Rachel to be organised, professional, reliable, friendly and easy to interact with. The most important thing is our cats loved her and were happy to be with her and play. Rachel has exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend her. We will definitely be asking Rachel to look after Chiko & Tiana whenever we're away.
Rachel was fantastic with our two cats. She provided updates at every visit, sent us pictures of their antics and even bonded with our very shy, timid cat. We will definitely book Rachel again if the opportunity arises.
