Quiet companion for cat sitting
Hello, I’m Rachel and I've always loved being in the company of cats. I've been very fortunate. I have had several cats in my life, and have been around them since I was 5 years old. The first elegant lady was a long-haired Tortoise shell called Moppet who was the gentlest cat in the world. I always remember the smell of the fields on her fur when she came home from her adventures. My most recent cat was an amazing British Short Hair called Bronte who I met as a kitten on the stormiest of nights. She had a wild and wonderful spirit. I would love to look after your cat and provide company and treats if you have to go away. I'm a freelance writer and am calm by nature, so I can offer a high level of care and attention as well as a quiet energy. I'm also happy to do any jobs in the garden or things like plant watering while I’m sitting. I believe in the ancient wisdom of the cat and have a deep respect for cats as independent creatures. I will never impose my needs on your feline friend and believe they must always introduce themselves first and not the other way around. I'm always happy to talk to cats and make sure they feel safe and protected. I can also provide brushing and head rubs (if that's something the cat enjoys). I'm now also offering a full daycare service in SW London for the same price as an overnight booking. This gives your cat continual care from 9-5pm and is ideal if your cat needs more dedicated attention due to age, behavioural issues, illness or injury. Schedule
I work remotely so can provide a high level of flexibility when it comes to your cat's schedule and routine. This means I can sync my day to their feeding routine and care needs.

Safety, trust & environment
I pay particular attention to your cat's behaviour within your space and will be in touch with any changes to their normal habits. I am also fully DBS checked and take the security of your home seriously. At the end of all bookings I provide an update with checkout photos to confirm: Key location, Litter tray status, Your furry one's location, Food and water sources, Deliveries.
A typical day
I love to stimulate your cat physically and mentally as well as providing a high degree of comfort. This means making sure they have lots of playtime, some brushing sessions (if the cat enjoys this) and access to different spaces to explore. I can also bring additional toys or stimuli with me if this would be useful.
