Hey! I’m Rachel. Having grown up surrounded by animals, I’ve always loved caring for pets and have plenty of experience looking after cats and young puppies. I’ve owned cats all my life, so I’m very comfortable with their different personalities, needs and routines, whether they’re playful, cuddly, shy or a little more independent. I live at home in Newton Mearns, and my own cat, Akila, is the one in my profile picture, as you can see, she absolutely loves a cuddle! 🐱❤️ My mum has been looking after cats through this site for years, and I always loved going with her from a young age to help out, so I wanted to follow in her footsteps and start pet sitting myself. I’m reliable, caring and would treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m also happy to spend time playing with pets, giving them plenty of attention and making sure they feel comfortable and happy while their owners are away.

Safety, trust & environment
I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable and settled in their own environment. When visiting a pet owner’s home, I’m happy to follow their usual routine, including feeding times, playtime, walks and any other care they need.
Ratings and reviews
Rachel was great and took very good care of our two cats while we were away. She helped with other household things like bringing in parcels and watering our plants. She shared regular photos and updates and was reliable and helpful. We really appreciated the care and attention she gave to our two mogs and recommend her to anyone else. Thanks!
Rachel did an amazing job with Bella and Luna. She was such a lovely girl and was very helpful and kind. She sent video and photo updates and they were happy being stroked and fussed over by Rachel. Would definitely recommend and will be using Rachel in the future.

Schedule
I’m currently working part-time as I have just graduated from Edinburgh uni, I have plenty of spare time and would love to look after more animals!
