Hello! I am Nicole, a friendly and reliable cat sitter in Colchester. 🩷 I have always had a huge love for animals and caring for cats is something I genuinely enjoy. Before becoming a stay at home mum, I worked as a veterinary receptionist, which gave me valuable experience around animals and taught me the importance of providing calm, patient and attentive care. I also foster cats for a charity, so I have experience with a wide range of personalities and needs, including nervous and shy rescues. I have a particular soft spot for special needs kitties and have cared for blind, deaf, FIV+ and try-pawed kitties. I’m more than happy to provide additional care and take the time to understand what makes each cat feel safe and comfortable. I believe every cat deserves to be treated as an individual. Whether they want a play session, lots of cuddles or simply some quiet company, I’ll always respect their personality and let them set the pace. My aim is to make sure your cat feels happy, loved and settled while you’re away — and to give you complete peace of mind knowing they’re in caring hands. 🐾 I offer my services within a 15 minute drive from my home address, however if you are further and would like me to care for your cat please do still message! I offer two drop ins (up to 30 minutes depending on your kitties mood). The mornings will always be between 6am and 10am. And the evening visits will be between 4pm and 9pm. 🐱 I am also insured! And I am currently working through my feline first aid qualification too!

Building trust is so important to me. I always like to offer a free consultation before your first booking, so I can meet your cat and give them the chance to become familiar with me. It also gives me the opportunity to chat with you about all their little comforts, quirks and routines. The most important thing is to keep their routine as normal as possible. I understand it can be a little nerve wracking for cats when their family is away, so I’ll always make sure they feel comfortable, relaxed and cared for in their own home. And of course, a little treat always helps when it comes to building trust!

Schedule
After leaving my role as a veterinary receptionist to focus on raising my little girl, I am now a stay at home mum. This gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the day to provide reliable and attentive care for your cats. I have always loved working with animals, and my previous experience in a veterinary environment has given me a good understanding of how important it is to provide each pet with patient, caring and individual attention. This is one of the reasons I decided to start my own catsitting business. I am able to offer flexible drop-in visits throughout the week, allowing me to work around your cat’s individual routine and needs. And on some visits, I may even have my little helper, Hazel, with me! 🐾
- Nicole can host up to 2 drop-ins per day
- I am a completely open book when it comes to caring for cats! I also foster for a charity, so I have a huge soft spot for the special needs and rescue kitties. I have experience caring for blind, deaf, FIV+ and tri pawed cats, so I’m more than happy to accommodate their individual needs. If your pet requires any additional care, medication or a little extra attention, please just let me know! I’m always happy to chat about their needs beforehand so I can make sure they receive the best possible care while you’re away.
