Good cat company and care
I've been cat sitting for a few years now and take an organised and careful approach to it. I want owners to feel reassured that I will take great care of their home and help their cats feel comfortable, settled and provided for - all the qualities that I look for myself when I'm booking a cat sitter. I believe I am good at bonding with cats, building trust with them by finding the right balance between space and friendliness/affection. I try to take a series of photos and videos (if wanted) on each visit to help owners feel at ease and see that their cats are well and happy. I work in local government (specifically communicating about recycling, and always happy to answer questions!) and have a cat called Nina.

Miriam made our cats feel safe and loved whilst we were away. I was worried about leaving them for two weeks but the daily videos and photos were very reassuring and they were very calm and content on my return.

Schedule
On weekdays, I can do visits before 9am and from 5pm onwards, fitting around my full-time job. On Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, I can be a bit more flexible as I work from home. I'm usually totally flexible on weekends.
- Miriam can host up to 2 drop-ins per day
- When I meet cats and owners for the first time, I always make notes about everything the owner tells me, which I then use as a checklist. For instance, it's good to know if the cat(s) have favourite toys, what their personalities are, or I'll check things like how often cat litter should be exchanged.
