Availability
As a University student my schedule varies depending on the time of year. During busy periods I can do drop in visits if the area is nearby my home and I have flexibility with time. If I am unable to do any work during a period it will be visible on my calendar. I am in the country nearly every holiday and so during these times have almost complete availability. Again, I will endeavour to make my exact availability clear on my calendar.

About Mariam M.
Communication
Safety, trust & environment
I'm aware that when pet owners leave for holiday they are very anxious about how their pet will fare. For this reason I make sure to let each cat approach me at their own pace, paying attention to any cues that show anxiety and discomfort. When I look after your cat I will send daily pictures and or videos as well as a message summarising how they are and what we did during my visit.
Information Mariam M. would like to know about your pet
Please tell me in advance if your cat has conditions, any unusual things they like to eat or attempt to do so I can make sure to keep them safe. I would also appreciate knowing if when you leave they have any anxiety related behaviours so I can also try to keep your space clean and your things safe :).
A typical day
Each visit I check and change water, clean their bowls and litter area and feed them if they don't have an automatic feeder. After that it's up to you and your cat in how I spend my time. If kitty isn't interested in play or being groomed I do some studying and coexist with the cat, checking if their mood changes and they want to let some energy out.

Cat Sitter in London
Cat care experience
Hi! My name is Mariam and I am currently studying pharmacology at university. It’s a subject I find fascinating and I look forward to being able to utilise my studies to improve others lives. However, interests are not limited to STEM. I also am learning to make my own clothes, enjoy writing fiction, doing crafts, baking and exploring the city. I've been a cat parent to my loving (and mischievous) fur baby for 6 years. I've always loved cats and in owning my own I learned how to read their emotions and keep them happy. My own cat has some issues with communication as he was unfortunately not socialised before we rescued him and consequently is terrified of people. As a result, I understand that sometimes cats need time and that respecting their boundaries is essential to build trust. Now he is a playful boy who loves fetch so I am happy to play with cats as well as giving them affection and pets. I have also done cat sitting for the past 2 years and understand that every cat is different, as are their needs. I know that leaving your pet in my care is a nerve-wracking thing to do and always strive to make sure both you and your fur baby are comfortable!
Reviews
Mariam is an absolute delight! She is sweet, trustworthy, and all around incredible. She took amazing care of Willow while I was away, and kept me up to date with cute videos and photos. Willow was purring with her all the time! :) It is not always easy to be away from your pet, so Mariam's messages were a gift that made my day completely!
Excellent cat sitter. Miriam is caring, attentive, and all around lovely. She made an effort to give Willow her space to allow her to become comfortable with her in her own terms. She spent time with Willow, making sure she was given playtime and cuddle time. On top of that, Mariam kept me posted on a daily basis, and sent pics/videos. 10/10 :)
Mariam took very good care of our cats and are very attentive. We feel very safe to leave our cats and flat in her hands when we were away!
Thanks Mariam - she’s happy as always
