A typical day
I like to feed your cat first and deal with the cat litter. Once those jobs are done it's playtime! Play time is so important to building trust with your cat and releases some energy. If your cat is allowed treats I like to incorporate this into play, following Jackson Galaxys hunt-catch-kill-eat routine. I will stroke them and find their favourite spot. I have a variety of grooming brushes or if you would prefer I can use yours to keep your long hair cats Matt free

Hi, I'm Lauren. I'm 30 years old and live in failsworth with my partner, child and fur baby Toby. I fell in love with cats 8 years ago when I got myself a kitten, that quickly turned into two kittens. Since then I've been following lots of cat rescues in my area and helping where I can with donations and volunteering. I have good knowledge about cats, their behaviour and health, nutrition etc. Since the death of one of my cats last year, I've really wanted another cat but sadly it's just not the right time right now. I work from home most of the time so I've decided to get into cat sitting and I can't wait to meet some kitties and look after them while you're on holiday. I've just looked after my third kitty already got some repeat bookings lined up.

Lauren was an exceptional cat sitter. My cats are very shy, but she patiently gained their trust and cared for them wonderfully. She went above and beyond by noticing they were unwell, taking them to the vet, and ensuring they received the right treatment — Lauren gave me peace of mind with regular photos. I would highly recommend her.
Lauren was an excellent sitter, very friendly and kind, Minerva took to her straight away. She was very confident looking after Minerva which put my mind at rest while I was away. We had regular updates and photos sent, which also made the holiday much more enjoyable. Lauren was a perfect cat sitter, thank you so much for looking after Minerva.
