Working in a primary school means I’m available during all school holidays, making me a great choice for holiday pet care. I’m also available most weekends and am happy to accommodate other dates whenever possible. I’ll always do my best to fit around your schedule and ensure your pets receive the loving care they deserve. I have a lot of free time on my hands before and after work.

I’ll also ask for your vet’s details and an emergency contact so I can provide the very best care and give you complete peace of mind.
A typical day
Every visit is tailored to your cat’s individual personality and routine. I’ll make sure they have fresh food and water, clean litter trays, and plenty of love and attention. Whether your cat enjoys playing with their favourite toys, chasing a feather wand, having a gentle brush, or simply curling up for some quiet company and fuss, I’ll ensure they feel happy, safe, and comfortable while you’re away. I’ll also administer medication if needed and keep you updated with messages and photos for extra peace of mind.

Hello, I’m Kira. I’ve recently become a member on this site to share my affection and care for animals I love. With 20 years of experience as a Primary school teaching assistant I have dedicated my career to educating young minds. My DBS check is up to date, ensuring my trustworthiness and reliability. I have a deep affection for all kinds of animals, including cats, dogs, rabbits, and guinea pigs, and have had the pleasure of caring for many different pets throughout my life. I have had pets for all my life and I care for my three fur babies now. I have a lot of free time now my daughter is grown up so this led me to the rewarding opportunity of helping others care for their beloved pets.

I can't recommend Kira highly enough as a cat sitter. She has loved and cared for cats her whole life, having grown up with them, and as an adult she has three of her own who she's raised since they were just six weeks old. She is kind, reliable and incredibly caring, and she always puts her cats' wellbeing first. She's attentive to their individual personalities and routines, and I know she'd treat every cat she looks after with the same love, patience and care as she gives her own. I wouldn't hesitate to trust her with my own pets, and I'd happily recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable cat sitter.
I had a wonderful experience with Kira. She was very punctual and provided daily reports -plenty of details with lots of photos. Everything went very well and my cats loved her as pet sitter. Kira managed to interact with Fergus. Fergus is a very shy and reserved cat who takes weeks or even months to approach someone outside her daily circle. I highly recommend Kira’s services.
