Hi, I’m Kelly 👋🏻 A 31 year old who lives in Wickford. I work in the city and embrace a hybrid working pattern, where I can mostly pick and choose which days I’d like to go into the office. ** PLEASE NOTE I CAN ONLY ACCEPT OVERNIGHT STAYS AT PRESENT ** Due to the nature of my job, I would need a strong wifi connection to cat sit and ideally a home office set up, or at the very least space for me to bring a large screen and laptop to work from. Unfortunately without this, I would be unable to accept a sitting request. So what about my actual cat sitting experience? I’ve been around cats my whole life; from our own personal cats, to our neighbours’ cats and any neighbourhood strays, I am that person who will be late somewhere because they’ve stopped to pet a random cat on the way! I strongly believe that every cat has their own quirky personality and my goal for any cat would be to ensure their happiness in their own home. I love playing with cats whether it be a simple piece of string or something more sophisticated, as well as slipping them the odd treat on the sly (if allowed). As well as sits through here, I often house sit for my Brother which involves cat sitting his energetic ginger Tomcat, Mosley, who keeps me on my toes! However, for a long time the head of our household and object of my affection was our female all black rescue cat, Mimi, who we sadly lost in 2023 🌈 I’ve recently embraced the mortgage life and moved into my first home. It’s doubtful that I will be able to have my own pet and therefore, the chance to earn some extra money as well as filling that gap in my life would be a great combination. As well as Wickford, I also spend a lot of time in Rayleigh, where my family are based.
