I work from home with a hybrid schedule so I am only out of the home 2 days a week. I have flexible working hours so even on office days my employer is understanding and allows me to work from home when pet sitting.

I am a very clean and organised person. When I pet sit the pet's needs always come first, for example if a dog is used to a walk at a certain time they will always be walked at said time and my schedule will work around them. I always try to show extra attention when their owners are away as they are likely missing them and their routine. I have a different approach with cats, having had multiple cats of my own, all of which were stray or adopted beforehand, I know cats need more time to adjust and their own space.

Please let me know if your pet has a particular habit or routine, for example a walking route they prefer, a special bowl for food, etc. As always please let me know if they need medications at a particular time.
A typical day
I love to make a pet the centre of attention, I will walk them, play games with them, on hot days I have even been known to set up paddling pools for them (if they like that sort of thing). For my cats I often set up new things for them to explore or play with.

As well as having my own pets all my life, I have cared for multiple friends pets over the years. I am often the first port of call for long house sitting stays for a lot of them. I have cared for both cats and dogs and often multiple at a time. I love being around animals and when staying with someone's house I love their pets like my own and make sure to show them extra attention as they may be missing their owners.
