I’m a doctor research student at Oxford University and am, in essence, my own boss. Therefore, I can be as flexible as your cat needs me to be.

About Julia J.
Safety, trust & environment
I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully, maintain established feeding and play routines, and make sure litter trays, water bowls and living spaces are kept clean and comfortable. Having recently adopted a shy rescue cat myself, I understand how important consistency, patience and a calm environment can be for a cat’s wellbeing. I will treat your cat and home with the same care and respect I would expect for my own.

Cat care experience
I grew up surrounded by cats and, as my mum likes to tease me, she once caught me eating from my grandma’s cat’s bowl when I was three or four years old. I’ve loved cats ever since and enjoy getting to know their unique personalities. My own cat is a gentle, rather shy rescue cat who has taught me a lot about patience, trust, and respecting a cat’s individual pace. Some cats will greet you at the door, while others prefer to watch from a safe distance first — and I am happy to let them take the lead. I also volunteered at an animal shelter in Germany, where I helped care for cats of different ages, temperaments, and backgrounds. Whether your cat loves attention or values their independence, I will make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.
