We are Jane and Frank, soon-to-be retired (but young at heart), trustworthy professionals who adore cats. We have years of experience looking after cats; our own and those of family, friends and neighbours. We have experience of kittens through to senior cats with medical needs. We both have current PVG Disclosure accreditation.

I am a high school teacher specialising in teenagers with Additional Support Needs so being calm, cheerful and patient is almost literally in my job description. To gain the trust of a cat is a privilege indeed! They need to get to know you, on their terms. Safety is a priority; we take it very seriously if cats need to stay indoors for example. We lost our beloved Russian Blue, Rory, last year and were devastated. We both miss the company of cats and would love to have the opportunity to get to know yours.

Jane and Frank have been absolutely amazing and they gave us such peace of mind while we were away. Thoughtful, kind, and very loving to our cat. Inari was extremely well taken care of, with lots of playtime and cuddles. The flat was in an impeccable state upon our return. Excellent communication before, throughout, and after. Highly recommended!
Jane responded quickly to my request and it was really easy to organise an intro and key handover when I was going away at fairly short notice. And when I came home I had a happy cat. It makes such a difference having someone reliable and friendly to cat sit.
Can’t recommend Jane enough. She was friendly, confident and clearly very interested and fond of cats when we met for a meet n greet. She was very flexible when I requested extra visits. Jane stayed in touch with updates and photographs and played with Tibby when she was looking for attention. I would definitely ask Jane to visit Tibby again.
Jane was amazing! She was really calm and patient when she first met the girls and let them get used to her. I felt really confident going on holiday and Jane sent regular updates and photos and I could see they were in great hands. I would not hesitate to book Jane again and recommend her, she was great!
I have been friends with Jane for over 40 years since we shared student accommodation at university. Jane is a very caring, thoughtful, diligent individual who is a lifelong cat lover. As a teacher of pupils with additional support needs she has demonstrated, every day, her concern that everyone is valued and treated with respect and her nurturing nature extends to all living creatures. Jane and her husband, Frank, (another fellow student of mine) are an organised thoughtful couple who take care to see that everyone around them has their needs met and feels at ease. Their relationship with their own cat showed how loved he was, for all the years they spent together. Schedule
We are both retiring very soon and will have lots of availability. In the meantime, we both currently work part time, so, between us, we are highly likely to be able to meet you cat sitting needs.
- Jane can host up to 3 drop-ins per day
- Let us know if your cat/s have any particular needs and if you have any particular routines or strategies you want us to follow. We want your pets to be as comfortable and relaxed as possible whilst you’re away. It’s good to know favourite toys and games, favourite ways to be petted and, also, any things they particularly dislike. Please leave your vet’s number and address in case of emergency.
