My name is Otilia 😀 Before anything else, I am a cat lover. I have a teaching background, but switched careers to nursing. I have practised nursing in USA and now UK (DBS checks done). I have recently transitioned to a work from home position in nursing informatics which gives me greater flexibility and availability to cat sit. So far, I had the opportunity to enjoy life in 3 different countries: Romania, USA and now UK. I have two great loves and we've been sharing life and making memories together over the last 15 years. They are my 2 cats: Ana and Hugo ❤️🐈❤️🐈‍⬛. I adopted them as kittens from an animal shelter. Ana is very shy and skittish and Hugo is boisterous and always up to something 😆 In the middle of the pandemic I moved from USA to UK. Needless to say, the move was difficult and I had to jump through nearly impossible hoops to bring my fur babies with me. However, they are family and I do not leave family behind when times get hard. I made a promise when I adopted them, the promise of a good life in the most loving environment. They are now living their best life here in UK 😀 Cats are such a fascination to me, I even created an Instagram page called UK_street_cats (feel free to have a look). I found myself snapping a photo (or five 😆) each time I was meeting a cat on the street and when my phone ran out of storage space, I decided to create an Instagram page dedicated to all cats 🐈 which now has hundreds of photos.
