Hello! My name is Ellie, or I sometimes go by Ella. I live in Ipswich with my two rescue cats Milo and Shrimp. I'm a student of cosmology and astronomy at the Open University, which I work on remotely from home. This means that I am fully flexible with my catsitting hours and can visit your kitties any time of day or night you need. While I am a lover of all animals, I have a special place in my heart for cats, from my own to cats I bump into on the street. I’m happy to do whatever it takes to keep your kitties happy while you’re away - from playing, feeding and cuddling to giving medication, grooming and special care. I have experience looking after reptiles and rodents as well. I’m also a tropical plant collector so rest assured I can keep an eye on your house plants or garden while you’re gone too! I am happy to, and have experience, looking after cats of all ages, from kittens to seniors. I am able to give injections, administer medication, and anything else your cat may need. I operate free from discrimination, no matter your race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual identity, religion or any other things that make you you. I am more than happy to abide by your rules while I am in your home, and I don't mind if you'd like to set cameras to keep an eye on your cats (or me!) while you're away. I would prefer if you'd let me know if you have cameras and where they are if this is okay with you.

Ellie was great and lived up to her impressive record of outstanding reviews. I was apprehensive about leaving my recently adopted cats for over a week but daily photo updates and messaging soon made me almost forget about them, in a good way! I have come home to two well fed, happy and nonplussed kitties; my potted garden has also survived the heatwave thanks to Ellie's care, and I couldn't ask for more. I have no hesitation in recommending Ellie, even to the most anxious cat parent!
Ellie truly is a cat lover. Being very skeptical about inviting a stranger into our home and to look after our cats I wasn't sure about using this service...until I met Ellie. We had a meet and greet a few days before and I took the plunge hoping my gut was right. It was. Ellie looked after our cats like they were her own, sending daily updates and photos, many making my laugh knowing the antics our cats get up to. Ellie Completely put me at ease and I won't hesitate to book her again

I can work flexibly around the needs of your cats. For drop-in visits, I can do any time, or for house-sitting/longer visits I can arrange this with you directly. I'm working on my degree in astrophysics and cosmology with the Open University, so I am not stuck to any set hours!
- Ellie can host up to 3 drop-ins per day
- Please let me know if your cat has any special needs, such as specific timings for visits, health problems, medication, food, etc. and I'll be able to cater to this. I have a car and will be able to take your cat to the vet in an emergency - so please leave details of your vet if this is something you'd be happy for me to do.
