I’ve been cat sitting for over 10 years and have cared for cats my whole life. I’m confident with feeding, litter care, grooming, administering medication, and handling vet visits if needed. I’m experienced with a range of personalities, from shy and nervous cats to very social ones, and I always take the time to make them feel comfortable and secure. At home I have four rabbits, so I’m very used to caring for animals and paying close attention to routines and wellbeing. I’m reliable, tidy, and genuinely love spending time with cats. I’ll make sure yours are well cared for and get plenty of attention while you’re away.

I try to keep things as close to your pet’s normal routine as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. I’ll follow your instructions carefully for feeding, care, and any specific needs. I’m very respectful of people’s homes and always leave things clean and tidy. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is doing well. I keep a close eye on behaviour and wellbeing, and I’m comfortable giving medication if needed. If anything seems unusual, I’ll get in touch straight away.

What a fantastic sitter. I had all confidence Elinor would take good care of my pet while we were away. We got regular updates, Elinor was on time and communicative and is one of the very few people my cat seems to trust!
Elinor was really flexible re timings and key pick up, which was very helpful. She sent brilliant photos and detailed updates about my cat which was reassuring. She really cares about your pet. Highly recommend.

Eli has looked after our beagle Alan (who some might say is quirky) on a few occasions. Most notable is the time she came to dog-sit after another sitter had been with Alan for a couple of days. On arrival she found Alan distressed - we think he hadn't been comfortable with the previous sitter. He had had accidents all over the house which is very out of character. She was super kind, cleared everything up, sent us updates and spent time reassuring Alan until he was relaxed. When we got back a couple of hours later, Alan (and the house) were calm and happy. We are so grateful for everything Eli did that day.
We have relied on Elinor to care for our cats for over four years and would recommend her without hesitation. From the very beginning, Elinor has been consistently reliable, turning up exactly when expected and always keeping us informed with texts and photos of them while we're away. What sets her apart is her genuine love for animals — she doesn't simply feed and check on our cats, she spends time with each of them in the way they like! When we added a second cat two years ago — a lively Bengal with a very strong personality — Elinor adapted without hesitation and both cats are visibly relaxed and settled when we return home, which tells us everything we need to know about the quality of care they receive. For anyone looking for a cat sitter who treats animals as individuals rather than a job to tick off, Elinor is exceptional. We feel genuinely fortunate to have found her and trust her completely with our home and our pets.

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule, so I can fit pet care easily into my day. I’m available for morning, midday, and evening visits, including weekends, and I make sure to plan my time so each pet gets the care and attention they need.
- Elinor can host up to 3 drop-ins per day
- It’s really helpful to know your pet’s routine in advance, including feeding times, portion sizes, and any specific dietary needs or allergies. I also like to understand their personality, such as whether they’re shy, energetic, or have any fears or triggers. Please let me know about any medical conditions, medications, or mobility issues, as well as details about their vet and emergency contacts. It’s also useful to know their favourite activities, toys, and any behaviours to watch for, like escaping, chewing, or anxiety when left alone. Finally, practical details such as access to your home, where supplies are kept, and any house rules make everything run smoothly and help me keep your pet safe, happy, and comfortable.
