Hello, I am a qualified Veterinary Nurse with over 20 years experience of working with, and caring for cats. In my Veterinary Nursing role my main passion has always been cats and how we can help them settle in an environment that is completely unfamiliar. Cats don’t ‘show’ their problems in ways that are easily recognisable so it’s important to understand individual cat needs. I love spending time with cats, each are unique and I tailor my cat care services to incorporate that. I have been cat sitting for nearly ten years and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.

Safety, trust & environment
Each cat is an individual and I make sure that I adapt my approach to suit them. I always like to meet you and them before you go away and we can come up with a plan on how they will cope when you are away. Cats in their own environment are usually more relaxed naturally, but it is always better to let them approach me, when they are ready (I genuinely don't overly engage when I first meet them - cats don't generally respond well to having their personal space encroached).

Schedule
I tailor my cat visits to suit the cat and their owner. I usually visit in the morning, and spend some time with them (can take up to an hour), cleaning and feeding and making sure they are happy and settled. If two visits are needed, for administering medication etc, then this can be arranged also. I have a key safe at my home where I keep your key locked away when not in use.
