I work remotely Monday to Thursday, which gives me plenty of flexibility for local cat visits throughout the day — whether that’s before work, during lunch, after work, or at times that best suit your cat’s usual routine. For cats who benefit from extra company, I’m also happy to work from your home for part of the day where appropriate. I’ve found this can be especially helpful for sociable cats, kittens, or cats who prefer a familiar human presence while their owners are away. Friday to Sunday, I’m usually local in Letchworth, either at home, in the garden, or at my allotment, so I’m often available for flexible visits and check-ins across the weekend too. I’m organised, reliable, and understand how important consistency is for cats, so I always aim to keep to their usual feeding, play, and care routine as closely as possible.

I know that every cat is different - some are shy and need calm, quiet reassurance and gentle patience, while others are highly social and thrive on attention, play, and companionship. When caring for your cat in your home, I’ll always respect their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, playtime, litter tray care, and any specific instructions you provide. I understand how important consistency is for cats and how much comfort they take from familiar routines and environments. Bramble (our cat) is such a fuss-pot and prone to health issues, so I'm acutely aware of creating stress-free environments and being thoughtful and attentive to a cat's particular needs and personality! I’m attentive to feline body language and behaviour, so I’ll adapt my approach depending on how your cat is feeling - whether that means giving them space, offering gentle affection, or engaging them with interactive play and enrichment. Trust and communication are very important to me, so I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind while you’re away. As a DBS-checked sitter, I aim to provide care that is not only loving and attentive, but also professional, respectful, and dependable in your home.

I’m happy to follow detailed care instructions, including feeding routines, favourite toys and play styles, preferred hiding spots, and any behavioural quirks that help your cat feel most comfortable. I also have experience supporting cats with additional care needs, including administering medication, gentle eye cleaning, and providing extra patience and attention for nervous, elderly, or less confident cats. The more I know in advance, the better I can make sure your cat feels safe, settled, and well cared for : )

A typical visit is always shaped around your cat’s personality and routine. For playful, energetic cats, that might mean interactive games with wand toys, chasing, enrichment activities, and plenty of engagement to help keep them mentally stimulated and active. For more relaxed or independent cats, it could simply mean calm companionship, gentle affection (if they want it!), brushing, or sitting quietly nearby so they feel comfortable and secure. If treats are part of their routine and approved by you, I’m happy to use them positively to build trust and create a reassuring experience. Alongside play and companionship, I’ll always make sure their practical needs are fully taken care of - fresh food and water, litter tray maintenance, and keeping their space clean and comfortable. My goal is always for your cat to feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while you’re away.

Hello! I’m a lifelong cat lover with hands-on experience caring for cats of all ages and personalities. I grew up in a busy cat-loving household with five cats, and now I’m lucky to share my home with my own indoor cat, Bramble. Because Bramble is an indoor cat, I’m very familiar with the importance of enrichment, interactive play, and keeping cats mentally stimulated as well as physically healthy (no tubby tummies here!). I understand that every cat is different - some love attention and playtime, while others prefer a calm, patient presence and care on their own terms. What sets me apart is my genuine understanding of feline behaviour and my attentive, tailored approach to care. I’m confident caring for: • Kittens and young cats – helping reinforce routines, gentle socialisation, and positive play habits • Adult cats – maintaining their usual routine to keep them happy and stress-free • Senior cats – providing patient, gentle care, monitoring behaviour changes, and ensuring extra comfort and reassurance I’m based in Letchworth and would love to care for cats locally, whether that’s drop-in visits, feeding, play sessions, or simply keeping your cat company while you’re away.
