Availability
I work part-time under zero contract, therefore I have plenty of time to spend looking after pets! I love long walks so if a dog needs to burn any energy off, I’d always be happy to take it. I am able to drive which makes it easier to get to any destination. I live in a very rural area with ragged roads so I am very used to driving on roads which aren’t the most upkept.

If I were to care for pets in anothers house, I would be respectful to their wishes and any specific rules about the pet themselves or how the house should be kept would be followed. I aim to present myself as a safe person for the pets to be around and not break any boundaries with them to get them frightened or angry.

A typical day
If I were to take care of a dog, I am a very active person and if the dog is aswell I am happy taking it on long walks or runs whether it is sunny or rainy. Taking care of cats is obviously a bit different and very dependent on the cats personality itself but if it is happy to play I could sit playing with it for hours as it never gets boring seeing a playful cat.

Cat care experience
I have personally owned cats for 13 years, 4 cats in total all with different personalities as well as looked after friend’s cats in the last 6 years when asked to. I’ve dealt with indoor and outdoor cats. I have personally taken my cats to the vets whenever necessary for vaccinations/treatment/check ups, etc. Therefore, I’m quite familiar with uncooperative cats aswell. Nevertheless, even if I encounter a moody cat I always enjoy being around them and caring for them. In my opinion, there is no better feeling than calling for a random cat you see outside and it actually comes to say hello!
