I work part-time in research involvement and public engagement at a biomedical research institute, and I also do advocacy work for a national charity. I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to build pet care into my daily routine. This means I can offer consistent visits rather than squeezing them in around commuting or other commitments. . I’m available for cat sitting visits seven days a week, including weekdays, evenings and weekends. Drop-in visits usually last 60 to 90 minutes, depending on your cat’s needs, and can be extended if needed. I also offer flexible all-day care and overnight stays, with a 25% discount for longer bookings. . I cover W13, W5, W3, W7, UB6 and NW10. . I’m always happy to arrange a meet and greet so you and your cat can see if I’m a good fit.

Safety, trust & environment
I care for cats in their own home, either through drop-in visits or overnight stays, so they can feel comfortable in their familiar surroundings and routine. I follow all care instructions carefully and pay attention to each cat’s individual needs, whether that’s feeding, litter care, medication, or just giving them space if they’re more independent. . I’m mindful of building trust gradually, especially with more anxious or shy cats, and I aim to keep things stable and consistent while their owners are away. I also treat the home with respect and always make sure everything is clean, secure and left as I found it.

Cat care experience
Hello and welcome to my profile. I’m Amy, a self-confessed cat lady. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, we had two black and white cats, Jimmy and Seamus, who were full of character, plus three rabbits and a tank of fish. After graduating from law school, I fostered five kittens and an adult female cat for several months. It was an incredibly rewarding experience and gave me hands-on experience with a wide range of cat personalities, from shy and nervous to confident and playful. Since then, I’ve regularly cared for family and neighbours’ cats while they’re away, including last-minute bookings. I genuinely love it and take the responsibility seriously. For health reasons, I’m not able to work or volunteer in a cattery, which would otherwise be my ideal role. Cat sitting in clients’ homes is the perfect alternative, as it allows cats to stay in their own familiar, low-stress environment. I’m committed to providing reliable, attentive care and making sure your cat is safe, comfortable, and kept to their usual routine while you’re away. Please feel free to get in touch if you’d like to arrange a meet and greet.
